When using live transfers with data matching, the live call is transferred and sold to the buyer based on the data collected by the call center rep during the initial call. For example, if the call center rep collects the lead’s zip code, mortgage amount and LTV, any or all of these fields are used to determine the best buyer before a call into the boberdoo system is placed. This is done by pinging partial lead details into the boberdoo system and to your network of buyers in order to collect and sort the best available buyers. See the step-by-step process below.
Note: In order to use this method, you must use boberdoo’s call routing platform to order a unique phone number for each call buyer.
Step 1: A lead calls into a call center or a call center places an outbound call to a lead. The call center rep collects additional information from the lead and submits it via a form that pings partial lead information into the boberdoo lead system. Using the ping information, the system determines which of your buyers will accept that lead.
Step 2: The system then returns the matching buyers’ information with the phone number at which they would like to be reached. These responses are aggregated and sorted either by priority or best price.
Step 3: The call center rep then dials the phone number provided in the response by the best available buyer. When the buyer picks up the phone, the call center rep introduces the lead to the buyer and then drops off of the call. If the first buyer does not pick up, the call center rep must dial the next available buyer.
Step 4: Once the lead and the buyer are successfully connected, the call center rep posts the full lead details into the boberdoo system and the data is routed to the corresponding call buyer.
Pros
– This method ensures the data portion of the lead is only sent to the buyer after the buyer picks up and purchases the phone call.
– This method provides better filtering options compared to live transfers with call matching because the buyer of this live transfer is determined based on the data collected by the sales rep instead of the phone call data. Any of the collected fields can influence the buyer matching logic.
Cons
– This process puts the decision-making process in the hands of your call center reps. They need to place the correct call to the correct number after the responses are returned and also post the full lead details to the partner that picks up and purchases the call.
– This method requires your call center to ping into boberdoo. This is a more sophisticated setup that needs to be either included in the call center software or built into a web form.
