boberdoo COVID Preparedness Statement

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are staying transparent and prepared for anything thrown at as. Meanwhile making sure that our clients get the best care we can provide. Here are the questions asked by The New York State Department of Financial Services and our answers to them. If you have any questions, please email us at sales@boberdoo.com.

1) What preventative measures are you taking to mitigate the risks of operational disruption and ensure business practices continue during the pandemic?

boberdoo’s cloud infrastructure and application architecture is designed to be highly resilient and secure. We maintain a business continuity and disaster recovery plan to ensure our ability to quickly respond to and recover from unexpected operational disruptions.

2) Are you prepared to handle mass absenteeism, or long-term periods of offsite working?

All boberdoo employees have the necessary resources to allow for off site working. Employees are geographically distributed and cross-trained and capable of supporting business operations in the event of increased absenteeism in a particular region or role. Our operations teams are supported by a 3rd party managed services provider that we can leverage for additional resources if necessary.

3) What steps have you taken as a precaution due to the possibility of increased cyber-attacks and fraud?

We are monitoring the threat landscape as it pertains to COVID-19 and have established communications channels that can be used to effectively communicate developments to employees, clients and partners. We have implemented enhanced technical controls to further secure remote access for employees while working remotely.

4) What employee protection strategies have you implemented, including (but not limited to) steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and increasing employee awareness?

All boberdoo employees were instructed to work remotely beginning in mid-March. Employees will continue to do so in accordance with guidance from their respective governments and local authorities. Business travel and planned conference attendance was cancelled. Established internal communication channels are used to raise awareness and quickly communicate developments to employees.
